The Show

...STOP PRESS !!! NEW DATE NEW VENUE
LANDROVERmax! is moving to a new venue- the fabulous Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire on a new date - August Bank Holiday. A bright new venue with room to expand to develop LANDROVERmax! still further over the coming years. Supported by dozens of clubs and nearly 100 trade exhibitors, the show in 2009 drew big crowds from all over the UK, Europe and even South Africa.
It proved to be exactly the family friendly festival of Land Rovers that it was billed to be and the atmosphere throughout the weekend was relaxed and happy. With loads to see and do for all the family, the show hit the right note all round.
LANDROVERmax! MARSHALS
Thank you to all of our fantastic marshals - Suffolk Land Rover Owners, Donnie Defenders & Yorks & Lincs 4x4 Response (fire safety team), the ORRP (Off roaders rant page) marshals working solidly for two days, getting the exhibitors through the trade gate to their stands with Nick King, and the Badgers who tirelessly cycled all over the place putting in hour after hour of support on the
camping area.
ARENA
Everyone loves a bit of action in the arena. In 2009, Orange Crush lived up to its name, the brand new Twist Off ramp - the tallest and steepest in the country – was a big hit as were the Maxed Out Manoeuvres winching and driving team.
Emergency vehicles attended a mocked up road traffic
accident and fire to prove that these old-timers still have plenty of puff left. The Range Rover Register celebrated 15 years of the P38A while a team of REME engineers re-chassied a Series III 88 for charity work in the Sahara.
Young Harry Peryer made his loyalties clear with a unique hairstyle, while the LRM arena team kept the crowds informed and Boundary Sound, the local radio station, supplied the sounds and commentary around the Showground
throughout the weekend.
THANK YOU LAND ROVER
LAND ROVER Experience put some of their finest 'landmark' vehicles on display including the magnificent Tomb Raider movie 110, their SAS long range desert patrol vehicle, Shaun the Sheep and several others
